


The Exicon digital closed loop controller gives you a clear interface for running, monitoring and diagnosing your machine. Live 3D toolpath simulation, machining runtime data, program logs and remote access capability are all built in as standard.

The vacuum matrix table is divided into independently controlled zones, so suction is applied only where your sheet sits. This lets you run smaller board formats without losing hold-down pressure, and the zoned configuration supports popular sheet sizes as standard.

The standard EK-C configuration includes a 12-slot linear rack tool changer mounted under the gantry, positioning tools within reach anywhere across the bed. Automatic ISO 30 tool changes are completed in seconds, allowing the machine to move between profiles, pockets and edge details without operator input.

Available on the EK-D configuration, the optional 9-vertical drill bank machines shelf holes, hinge plate positions and KD fitting bores in a single pass as part of the nesting program. Combining routing and drilling in one operation removes the need for secondary drilling, reducing handling and cutting production time per batch.

The optional under-gantry sweeper travels across the MDF spoilboard after each nesting cycle, extracting residual dust and offcut debris before the next sheet is loaded. Keeping the spoilboard surface clean improves sheet contact, protects your vacuum hold-down performance and reduces manual cleaning time between runs.

Inovance digital servo drivers with absolute encoders and EtherCAT connectivity are mounted inside a professionally wired CE-standard control cabinet. EtherCAT provides real-time closed loop communication between the controller and each axis, delivering the positioning accuracy and repeatability that production nesting demands.

The optional safety enclosure surrounds the machine on three sides with rigid mesh fencing, with the front face protected by a photoelectric light barrier. The full three-sided plus barrier configuration meets CE machinery safety requirements and is available on request for production environments where full guarding is required

A CE-rated photoelectric light barrier protects the open face of the machine, triggering an immediate controlled stop if the beam is broken during operation. This allows safe sheet loading and unloading without opening a physical gate, keeping production flow moving without compromising operator safety.

The EK-D upgrades to a 16-position rotary carousel mounted at the gantry end, giving you four additional tool positions over the standard linear rack. ISO 30 tooling is changed automatically at full speed, keeping cycle times tight across complex nesting programs.

A dedicated dust blower mounted at the spindle nose directs a controlled air jet into the cutting groove as the tool passes, dislodging dust before it settles. This works in combination with your extraction system to keep the cut line clear and improve edge finish quality.

Every EK Series router is fitted with Becker vacuum pumps as standard, delivering up to 500m3/hr on larger table models. Becker is the benchmark for industrial vacuum reliability, ensuring consistent sheet hold-down through every nesting cycle without pressure drop.

Material location pop-up pins rise from the table surface with a single press of the foot pedal, locating each sheet accurately in X and Y before the vacuum clamps it in place. Foot pedal control keeps both hands free for sheet handling, making it faster and safer to load and register boards at the start of every cycle.

Maxicam-Excitech routers come with easy to use CAD/CAM Software. convert designs in to NC code quickly and easily with Vectric.
